Career VOLTA helped me take stock of where I have been, where I am, and where I want to go. My personality is such that it can be hard for me to dream big or think past the immediate challenges I’m facing, which can cause me to feel stagnant. Lois laid out practical exercises that helped me to clarify and face some fears that have had me on pause, and I’m inspired to take further steps to move forward.  Being in a creative field still requires me to be business-minded and work well with others. The Table I want to sit at is often a studio or a stage, but the tools provided in Career VOLTA still apply. I wish I’d had this book 15 years ago!
